Anyways, that tutorial is here: I used the eclipse-inst-jre-win64.exe installer file as they instructed. I'll say right away: I gave up just before on another tutorial that had me try using IntelliJ, using forge 1.18.1 and JDK17 Jdk: OpenJDK8U-jdk_圆4_windows_hotspot_8u322b06, the tutorial shows an earlier version (OpenJDK8U-jdk_圆4_windows_hotspot_8u252b09) but they say to use "latest release" so I did. You can check the versions of the installs I did on the tutorial page I guess, but I'll sum it up here: I just downloaded Ecplipse (Version: 2021-12 (4.22.0) Build id: 20211202-1639), as instructed by the minecraft modding tutorial here:
